Fall continues! The late but gorgeous season is in full stride here in Ohio.

Personal Updates

Consistent overtime at work over the past month. Coupled with allergies that have been mysteriously bad this year, I must admit it’s been a struggle to muster the energy to get anything done. I don’t fully understand it, but I am trying to overcome it. I find that when I am tired, my lazy brain gravitates toward the closest distraction and wastes time at every opportunity. My schedule was fairly steady for most of this year: Wake up around 3:00 am, breakfast and devotions, then I write until it’s time to go to work. I wrote most of Luna’s rough draft in that manner—it’s my most productive time of day. But when I have to work early, that writing time is entirely cut out, and it can be hard to replace.

Luna Updates

Luna progress is, regrettably, painfully slim right now for reasons stated above. I wish I could speed it up somehow. I’m still working with my alpha readers, taking more notes. More and more, I’m realizing I’m going to have to bite the bullet and delay the release. (Which is disappointing, of course, but not entirely unexpected.)

Royal Road

Gaea, Book Two of The Mother Trilogy, is uploading daily on Royal Road, so don’t miss the chance to read it for free. (With 28 chapters out so far.) It’s my greatest literary achievement so far, and I want as many people as possible to read it in hopes that it will gain some traction. The new recap should catch you up if you want to pick up with the more sci-fi sequel here.

Tales from the Earthen Sky continues, with Chapter 6 of Act II dropping just tonight. Solis is back! You can read it out at this link, or find it ad-free on this very website.

And now I bid you adieu. Read many books this fall!
